This is our second day in Ho Chi Minh City. We were too tired and too hot to venture out into the city today. We spent a lazy morning on board watching fellow passengers shop at the market on the pier. We had a leisurely lunch on the pool deck as we dripped sweat. It is hot!!!!
We sailed away at 1:30 pm and are now at the beginning of our 4.5 hour journey down the Saigon River.
We have a briefing at 3:30 pm this afternoon about our Bhutan land trip scheduled to leave Bangkok on March 17. There will be 5 of us making the journey with no Silversea escort. Hopefully this will go relatively smoothly.
Tonight we dine at La Terrazza with a lovely couple currently living in the UK.
Tomorrow is a sea day.....
