Our excursion today was The Great Apes of Borneo. It took about 20 minutes to drive to the Sepilok Orangutan Center located in a mangrove rainforest. We spent about 2 hours there. Here are some pictures.
The picture below was the feeding station. This orangutan was a female and 6 months pregnant.
After our time with the orangutans we visited Sim Sim Water Village. The buildings were almost like house boats but were permanent structures on stilts above the water. There were even a couple of restaurants and bars in this village. Here are a few pictures.
We got back to the ship just a few minutes before the 5:00 pm All Aboard and the ship sent sail about 20 minutes later.
Tonight we had New York Hot Dogs and fries for dinner in our suite.
Tomorrow is a sea day.....
