Day 13 - Sea Day

Today is the first of 5 sea days before Easter Island.  Hopefully we will be able to get ashore there.  We would be tendered as there is no docking.  There is no protective reef around the island and the waters can be too rough for the tenders.  Fingers crossed it will be calm seas.

This morning we attended another lecture by Michael Buerk at 10:00 am entitled "Who Won the Human Race and Why".  It explored possible explanations for the varied development pace of the world's populations.

At 11:15 am we attended another cooking demonstration by David Bilsland called "A Taste of Peru" featuring Lima-Style Tuna Causa, Lomo Saltado and Ceviche De Mango.

We went for another 9 laps around the jogging track at noon and then had lunch on the pool deck.

At 4:00 pm we attended a destination lecture on Easter Island by Jon Fleming and then moved on to our second go of Trivia.  We did better today!

Tonight we have dinner at the Grill on the pool deck and we cook our food choice on hot rocks.

Tomorrow is another sea day.....
