We docked at Queen's Wharf in Auckland at around 7:00 am this morning. At about 9:45 the chef who made our delicious Philippine meal served in our suite on January 20 came by to meet us along with our butler Pauline. Chef Vincent signed our world map and Pauline took a picture of the 3 of us in front of it. It was lovely!
We struck out to explore Auckland at around 10:15. We found a beautiful park - Albert Park - and strolled around there for about an hour. Here are some pictures.
On our way back to the ship we saw this neat sign.
We went out again for lunch at 1:30 pm to the Harbourside Grill in the Ferry Building at Queen's Wharf. We had a view of our ship from our table. We enjoyed a John Dory meal for 2 with a wonderful New Zealand white wine.
Tomorrow is Bay of Islands.....
