Day 97 - Sea Day

Today is a sea day.  We are en route to Salalah, Oman and since leaving Muscat yesterday evening we are in the area designated by the International Maritime Organization as High Risk Area for piracy.  We will sail in the Gulf of Aden using the Internationally Recommended Transit Corridor (IRTC) which is considered to be the safest route between Somalia and Yemen.  Last night the additional security requirements were implemented.

I woke up this morning with a scratchy throat and a cough.  I guess it had to happen at some point since everyone else on the ship has had some variation of it.  Myster and I spent a quiet day in the suite - no lectures - leaving only for a lunch on the pool deck while the suite was being cleaned.

Tomorrow is Salalah, Oman.  Hopefully I will feel better as we have an excursion booked.
