The cocktails and dinner on the pool deck were amazing. Long tables were set up and the meal was served family style with platters passed around. After dinner there was disco music and the crowd was up and dancing like mad. I got up with several women and boy did we cut a rug! So much fun!
Today is a sea day. I requested that 2 pieces of our luggage that were stored after we unpacked on January 5 be brought to the suite so that I could start the big packing job. These pieces will be sent by Fedex to our home from the port of Venice when we disembark. With any luck they will show up at home in about 7 business days. Fingers crossed!
At 12:30 pm we went to a "Pub Lunch" in the Panorama Lounge. Fish and chips, steak pie, mushy peas, potato salad, a curry dish and, of course, the requisite ale. There was a sing along with some British favourites and some American classics. Great fun!
Tonight is formal night so we will be dining on the pool deck to avoid having to dress up.
Tomorrow we are scheduled to dock in Safaga, Egypt at 7:00 am and we will leave after the ship is cleared by immigration for our 13 hour tour to Luxor and the Valley of the Kings. It will be a very long day.
