I sent them an email asking how to go about registering a trip of 4 months which will visit 31 countries and 51 ports. They directed me to the link above and specified that I would need to enter identification for Myster and myself along with the information for each port in every country visited. A lot of keying!
This morning I decided to tackle the job. I only had to enter the identification details (name, passport info, emergency contact) once for each of us. Then I moved on to the port by port listing. I got as far as Moorea, French Polynesia at the end of January, 2016 when I reached the "trip maximum". No further information could be added to the registration. That leaves 3 months worth of ports unlisted. I sent a message to Foreign Affairs asking how to go about adding the additional information to the registration. We'll see how they respond. Their system is not really designed for a trip like this.
