I posted about my attempt to register our trip with Foreign Affairs on 50 Days And Counting.....(November 16, 2015). Readers may recall that the online registration had a maximum of allowable entries for locations on the trip itinerary. I emailed the registration department and they responded very quickly. I was asked to email them the balance of the itinerary and they would update the registration from their end. I have received notification that all the trip details have been added. Another tick!
I have finalized our excursion plans for Cairns, Australia. We are now booked and paid for the Kuranda Scenic Train and Skyrail trip. We will have to walk a few blocks from the cruise terminal to the hotel where we will be picked up at 10:00 am on February 19, 2016. There is a refundable cancellation before February 15, 2016. Tick!
There are only two power outlets in our suite aboard the Silver Whisper. As we are bringing quite a few bits of electronics I decided we should consider a power bar. I found one designed for travel on amazon.ca. I ordered it this morning along with 2 more TSA approved luggage locks. The power bar has a cord management system which folds over the outlets making it easy to pack and two outlets on each side. A picture of the power bar appears below. Tick!
