The Bagan trip will have some neat aspects to it. After a visit to the Sunset Temple for pictures and to enjoy the sunset we return to the hotel for a demonstration of the wearing of a Myanmar Longyi. A Longyi is a circular sheet of cloth that is worn around the waist extending down to the feet and is held in place by folding the fabric over without tying a knot. Each guest is offered a Myanmar Longyi as a gift. We can then wear them to the Myanmar Royal dinner with Traditional Show that evening. A picture of the Longyi appears below.
